While residing in the Tavatimsa Heaven, the Buddha was asked for help by a Devaputta named Supatitthita. Supa-titthita had learned from his friend that he would die within 7 days and be happened in the hell and then become various kinds of animals and disabled, 500 incarnations for each kind. The Buddha gave him a sermon describing the bad Karma (bad deeds) he had accrued from his previous lives. In order to keep him alive in the heaven for long, the Buddha advised him to learn and recite a special spell named Unhassavijaya. Because of the power of the spell, Supatitthita has never left the heaven until the present.

NangPhia Phan had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Unhatsavisai to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5 thousand years. May my wishes and desires be fulfilled. May I dedicate the merit derived from making of these two manuscripts entitled Maha vibak and Unhatsavisai to Phò Kam Mae Ven (deceased persons or spirits who would come to harm us any times) and the Lord of Hell. May I escape from misfortunes, diseases and dangers without nuisance by Mara (The Evil One). May I be happy and enjoyable forever. By the way, may I have money fully filled in my bag and rice fully filled in the rice hut without lacking of any of them.-
