Panyaparami or Paññāpāramī (perfect-ion of wisdom) is regularly read by monks while delivering a sermon to people on the occasion of an auspicious ceremony. The text describes the Buddha's lifetime: The Buddha traveled to the Tavatimsa Heaven to attend the Buddhist Lent. He delivered a valuable sermon called “Panyaparami” pertaining to the 30 perfections of the Buddha to God Indra and the deities: a Bodhisatta has to complete these 30 perfections before becoming a Buddha. By writing the text on one’s own, asking someone else to write or paying attention and listening to the Panyaparami, one could get merit, become rich and be liberated from all misfortunes.
