Phaya Puranakhòn ordered his sinful-hearted ministers to put Queen Samavadi and his son Surinda Jambu on a raft to let them float away along the Ganga river. Mother and son were floating to the port of the Hermit Suttha who rescued and looked after them. Later, the hermit became the adoptive father of the son.
