Description of manuscript content:
Phaya Puranakhòn ordered his sinful-hearted ministers to put Queen Samavadi and his son Surinda Jambu on a raft to let them float away along the Ganga river. Mother and son were floating to the port of the Hermit Suttha who rescued and looked after them. Later, the hermit became the adoptive father of the son.
Colophon:
Folio 16 on the recto side: Somdet Rattanapanya was the scribe. The writing of this manuscript entitled Surinthakumman was finished in a tao nyi year, on the thirteenth day of the waxing moon of the eighth [lunar] month, a Monday, a kot san day.
