Description of manuscript content:

The story of Phra Malai who visited the Culamani Stupa in the Tavatimsa Heaven where the relics of the Buddha are enshrined. The Venerable monk saw one-hundred thousand deities there, especially, Maitreya or the next Buddha with whom the Venerable talked. Maitreya left a message with Pha Malai for the people in the world. Those who wish to meet him in his future era have to: 1. abstain from killing and hitting their parents, ordained persons and hermits. 2. abstain from causing the Buddha to bleed and causing a schism in the order. 3. paying attention and listening to the whole story of the Vessantara Jataka within one day.
