King Sivijaya ruled Vitheharat City abiding to the ten virtues of a ruler. God Indra appreciated the king. Heturned his body into a hunter and he brought a white elephant to the king. When the king accepted the elephant, God Indra revealed himself as a god and said good-bye to the king before going back to the heaven.

Saṅgharājā Phutthapanya had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Visaiyabanha to support the Teaching of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5 thousand years. [This manuscript was written to be] dedicated [the merit] to my older brother named Thit (Mr.) Phomma who has passed away to the other world. May the benefit derived from this merit be a golden vehicle taking my older brother to reach the three stages of happiness with Nirvana as the ultimate goal. Niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ.
