Description of manuscript content:
The text was written Pali contains three contents including Sut thòt sim (chanting for withdrawing an assembly hall boundary), Pavāranā (invitation to speak), and Kammavacha (text of a formal act). The text of sut thot sim is used by a group of monks for chanting at a ritual of withdrawing an assembly hall boundary. The text of pavarana is used by a group of monk at the ecclesiastical ceremony at the end of the rains retreat, in which monks invite one another to speak of any offences or unwelcoming behaviours they have seen, heard or suspected to have been committed during the retreat. Kamma-vacha is used by three monks at an ordination ceremony.

Folio 38 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1192, a Kot nyi year, on the second day of the waxing moon of the first [lunar] month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), a moeng khai day, in the morning (6:00–7:30), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Hua Chao Sivisa had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manu-script entitled Lam Sut to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May my wishes and desires be fulfilled. Nibbāna paccayo hotu dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ. (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, constantly and certainly).
