The text explains the Bodhipakkhiya-dhamma, the 37 virtues of partaking in enlightenment which comprise of the following seven categories of the Dhamma:
1). 4 Satipatthāna: The Four Foundations of Mindfulness
2). 4 Sammappadhāna: The Four Perfect Efforts
3). 4 Iddhipāda: The Four Paths of Accomplishment
4). 5 Indriya: The Five Controlling Faculties
5). 5 Bala: The Five Powers of Success
6). 7 Bojjhaṅga: The Seven Enlightenment Factors
7). 8 Atthaṅgika-magga: The Noble Eight-fold Path
