While Ascetic Siddhartha was confronting with King Mara who asked for his seat, he could not find anyone who could be witness. Then the Ascetic thought of his prefections which he had performed in the past. He pointed his fingers to the earth and invoked Mother Earth to be his witness. Suddenly, the mother earth came up and queezed her hair where the water pouring out and flooding the Mara and his troops.

Nibbāna paccayo hotu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ. (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, certainly).
