Description of manuscript content:
The text mentions about in the Buddha’s time, the Buddha accompanied with 500 bhikkhus including Ananda Thera travelled to a hill named Doi Tao where the hair relics of the previous Buddhas had been installed. Later King Asoka built the sputa to protect the relics. In Buddhist Era 800, a bhikkhu and a devoted girl named Sutsada who had religious faith, they together made a statue of the Buddha of a crystal. This made the people misunderstood and accused them having sexual misconduct but not true. The head district of the village ordered to kill Sutsada.

Folio 18 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 214 hundred 606 (correspond to BE 2466), a ka khai year, the first day of the week (Sunday), in the eleventh [lunar] month. The writing of this manuscript had been finished in the morning between 7.30-9.00 o’clock. Sao (Mrs.) Phaeng had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Tamnan Ninthan Vat Phaviengdin, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5 thousand years. May my wishes and desires be fulfilled. Folio 19 on the recto side: Thit (Mr.ex-monk) Phan and Sao (Mrs.) Phummy, husband and wife, from Huaxiang village had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript, to support the Teachings of the Buddha.
