Description of manuscript content:

The manuscript contains the teachings of the Shaṭṭārīyah Sufi Order such as how to take the oath, and the teachings of the Perfect Man (Insān Kāmil). It also contains the genealogy of Kiai Hasan Maolani from the lineage going back to Sheikh Muhyiddin Pamijahan. It also contains outlines for remembrances (dhikr) and other Sufi matters as well as other texts. such as spells, prayers (doa khatmil al- Qur’an, tawasul), ratib dhikr, the marriage of the Prophet with Siti Maryam, divination and hadith on the superiority of Mecca.

Other notes:

At the end some pages are damaged causing loss of text. The manuscript is incomplete as the beginning and end are missing. The text is written with the use of diacritics. Many pages have interlinear glosses in Javanese.
