The text is part of the final part of a prayer. The manuscript also contains a list of abbreviations for understanding Arabic-Islamic texts. This manuscript contains a letter of invitation to a family in Komering to persuade Ahmad to return to his hometown. This text is a a prayer that is often read after the daily prayers. The manuscript also contains the texts of several sermons.

Above the text on the first page is written in Roman script Catatan Khutbah dll (“Notes for sermons etc.”) which was probably added later. However, the manuscript does not contain these notes. The Arabic script on the first pages uses diacritics and is written in blue ink. The rest of the text does not use diacritics and is written in black ink.
