The text contains Islamic theological teachings in poetic form (naẓm) in 144 stanzas. The first few stanzas have interlinear glosses in Malay. The second text contains the principles of Islamic theological knowledge written in poetic form (naẓm) in 57 stanzas. The text has interlinear glosses in Malay. The third text is about prayers for the Prophet Muhammad. The last text The text is a fragment of a Quranic verse. At the end is explained that the verse is the Prophet Yusuf’s prayer when he left prison and the benefit the prayer gives when it is said.

The text starts with a prayer called sayyid al-istighfār. Another unique element is that the letter sīn in the sentence bismillāh al-raḥmān al-raḥīm is not written.
