The manuscript contains several texts. The first text is a commentary on al-Zāhid’s Sittīn al-mas’alah and deals with Islamic jurisprudence. In addition, the text is about Islamic theological lessons, the concept of ma'rifa in a Sufi context. Furthermore, the text discusses the concepts of taṣawwur (consultation) and taṣdīq (confirmation) in the context of logic (manṭīq).
Some pages are damaged with loss of text. The text is written with the partial use of diacritics. The main text in Arabic has interlinear and marginal glosses in Javanese.
