The Chinese story starts with a description of the peaceful and restful country of Tong Tya under the rule of King Gyan Tik. The king’s vizier, Sim Gyam secretly betrays the king and refuses to appear before the king. The king is totally unaware of this. The story ends with Sun Cyi Go who causes the country to turn into chaos.

On the empty page that precedes the text is written No. 6 in pencil. On the page at the end a drawing has been made of the shadow-play figure Bomasakti with the text: “Bomasakti eneng saha jeroneng siti pertola”, and on the bottom the text “boma tasamaka”.
The numbering is done in international numerals on the recto pages 1-317 while numbers 21 and 67 were counted twice and 208 was omitted. The international numberings are preceded with the word No. The text is a poem written in Javanese tembang macapat verse.
