This part of the Panji cycle starts when Panji Mabangun, the son of the King of Jenggala left the country to enter the service of the King of Ngurawan under the disguise Raden Tumenggung Kalana Jayakusuma. The King of Ngurawan likes him very much and has adopts him as his own son. The story ends when Kalana Jayakusuma meets Retna Murdeya, the daughter of a priest.

On the first page is written “Jenggala tama setoma in pencil.
The manuscript has apparently been rebound as the numbering is disturbed. After number 136 comes 157 etc., while numbers 137 etc. are in the middle of the manuscript. The text is a poem written in Javanese tembang macapat verse.
