This manuscript tells the Isra Mi'raj, the Prophet Muhammad's spiritual, one-night journey from Mecca (Masjid al-Haram) to Jerusalem (Masjid al-Aqsa), then from Jerusalem to the seven heavens to Sidrat al-Muntaha where he met Allah. Dduring this journey, the Prophet Muhammad was accompanied by the Angel Gabriel and he rode the animal "buraq" which means "flash of light". On his journey, Prophet Muhammad was shown the signs of Allah's greatness, met the previous prophets and had dialogues with them. He was shown the pleasures of life in heaven and the torments of life in hell. Also on this journey, the Prophet Muhammad was given the obligation for all Muslims of praying five times a day, which is one of the most important pillars of Islam.
