This manuscript contains the story of Damarwulan, a popular, legendary figure in Javanese folklore. Initially, Damar Wulan served as a lawn worker for Patih Loh Gender from Majapahit. Because of his intelligence, Damar Wulan was able to become Patih Loh Gender's main servant and Anjasmara, Loh Gender's daughter, fell in love with him. Damar Wulan then received an assignment from the King of Majapahit, namely Ratu Kencana Wungu, to disguise himself with the aim of helping her to defeat Menak Jinggo, the ruler of Blambangan who intended to rebel against Majapahit. The handsome Damar Wulan was able to attract the attention of Menak Jinggo's concubines, namely Wahita and Puyengan, and with their help, Damar Wulan managed to obtain Menak Jinggo's magic mace Wesi Kuning. Menak Jinggo was then defeated and Damar Wulan became a hero. He brought the two concubines to Majapahit and in the end also married Ratu Kencana Wungu.
