The text contains stories about, and the attributes of, the Prophet Muhammad seen from the point of view of his Companions Abu Bakar Asshidiq and Ali bin Abi Talib. The first part of the text, pages 1v to 14r, contains the story about the prophet and is told by Abu Bakar Asshidiq. The second text starts on page 15r and runs until 40v and is told by Ali bin Abi Talib and talks about Muhammad’s attributes.

The main text is in Arabic script which is complemented with interlinear notes in Javanese written in Pegon script, all in black ink. The manuscript is in bad condition and many pages have become detached from the binding, while some repairs were made in vain. The front and back covers are brittle with many holes and tears. The spine is brown and made of tree bark paper patched onto it for reinforcement. The text is well readable.
