The text explains the 20 attributes of Allah and the four attributes of the Prophets. The text resembles that of the ‘Aqīdāt al-Awwām, because they both deal with theology for new students of Islam.
Other notes:
The manuscript is a cashregister book with vertical lines. The binding is rather good but the front and back covers are missing. The bottom of the manuscript is damaged as the paper has become bad with a triangular damage of 1,5 cm x 1,5 cm all way through. The paper is generally in good condition and the text is easily readable.
At the beginning is a note in black ink stating that the manuscript’s owner was Muhammad Iman bin Rohidin, a teacher in Madrasah Manba’ul Huda, in Cirebon. Under the note is written Iman in pencil and Muhammad Iman in purple ink. At the end are notes in pencil about pieces of fabric: 3,69 kain palembit per stel, 5,75 kain gabardin per stel, 2,81 kain tusser per stel, 5, 98 kain danker per stel.
