Description of manuscript content:

The manuscript deals with the prayers of the Shattariyah Sufi Order including the oath of allegiance for those who want to join the Order. It also contains special wirid (incantations), the Kanzul ‘Arasy prayer, and the asma’ul husna incantations.

Other notes:

The binding is molded so that some pages in the middle have become loose. The manuscript is incomplete as the front and back covers and some pages at the start and at the end are missing. There are some damages and black spots, but they do not disturb the text. The text is written in black in, with red used for important words. The text on page 10 is written in grey pencil. The measurements of the pages differs. Pages 1-3 measure 14.5 cm x 16 cm; pages 4-9 measure 10 cm x 16 cm; page 10 measures 12.5 cm x 14 cm; pages 11-19 measure 10 cm x 16 cm; and pages 11-36 measure 11 cm x 16 cm.
