Description of manuscript content:

The manuscript is about the teachings of the seven stages in Sufism (Martabat Tujuh). It is often found in the concept of wahdatul wujud or the unification of God and man such as in the following quote: “ing dalem awakira kabeh pira-pira tetengere anane Pangeranira”, or “in your bodies are the signs of the presence of your God”. The text also has a chapter on the daily prayers and the meaning of the rakaat, the movements during prayers and ritual ablution.

Other notes:

Some pages have large holes in them with loss of text. 18 pages at the beginning are damaged. The front and back covers are missing, but the binding is good. The manuscript is incomplete due to missing pages at the beginning and end. Some pages have become detached from the binding. Nevertheless, the overall condition of the manuscript is rather good and it is well readable.
