Description of manuscript content:

The text is in Javanese verse called tembang macapat. It is about the adventures of the four sons of the King of Cempa, Selangkara, Selaswara, Selaganda, and Selarasa.

Other notes:

The paper is discolored and many leaves are with holes, stains and tears. The script is well readable apart from page one which is in a bad condition. The front and back covers are missing. The manuscript is incomplete due to missing pages at the beginning, middle, and end. The verso pages are numbered in Roman numerals and run from 3 to 73 and continue with 135-137. The binding is still present but has become damaged and some pages have become detached from the binding.
