The manuscript deals with Arabic syntax (naḥw). It discusses verbs (fi‘il) following experts from Kufa and Basra in Iraq.

Other notes:

The paper has holes due to insect infestation. The text has interlinear and marginal glosses and notes, some up-side-down. The Arabic script does not use diacritics. Changes in topic are indicated clearly in the margins in red and with coloured circles. The manuscript is incomplete due to missing pages at the beginning and at the end.
