Description of manuscript content:
The twelfth fascicle of the story of Mahosot. A Bodhisatva was born as Mahosot (the one who has a powered medicine), a son of Sirivatthaka and Sumana, wealthy merhant in Mithila city. When he was born, in his hand clasped a medicinal herb that brought a painless birth for his mother and that cured all of the sick people. When Sirivatthaka grinded the medicine herb and smeared at his forehead, his headache was immediately recovered. At the age of seven, Mahosot demonstrated great architectural talent. Throughout his childhood his wisdom grew. With his excellence, he was one of advisors to King Vitheha of Mithila. When King Vitheha died Mahosot moved to Varanasi city and become the advisor to King Chulani Prommathat.
