Description of manuscript content:
The text mentions about when Ananda Thera questioned the Buddha that what would happen for his Teachings in the future? The Buddha answered that when his Teachings has passed 2300 years, the human beings will start to do evil, to have lack of moral shame. They will not practice observing the precepts and giving alms. Good men less and bad men more. No justice in the societies. They kill each other. Then my Teachings comes to declining.

Folio 8 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1261, a kat khai year, on the third waning day of the eighth [lunar] month, the first day of the week, a kat pao day, Sathu Nyai Komkhun and his wife had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of the manuscript entitled Tamnan Phaya In (Chronicle of Indra) 2 fascicles to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires come true.
