Description of manuscript content:
9 Phankot (9 thousand ten millions) is the name of a holy Khatha (stanza) which Gotama Buddha learnt from Ariya Metteyya. The Buddha delivered this stanza to Indra and devas while visiting Tavatimsa heaven. The stanza has power to support the persons who remember and recite it. A person who writes the manuscript of 9 Phankot or sponsors the making of this manuscript and donates it to the monastery will be free from all diseases, not go to hell for many existences. The merit of making this manuscript will support relatives who were born as ghosts and move them to a good place.
