King Sangkhatsa ruled Sangkhatsa Nakhon. He had a daughter named Princess Sukhantha Rasakummari. When the princess was 16 years old, she had soft skin and became a beautiful girl. At the time, a royal minister named Phanthu informed King Phommadata about the beauty of the princess. When King Phommadata heard about that he fell in love with the princess without seeing in person. The king commanded his ministers to bring offerings to the king of Sanghkhatsa Nakhon in order to ask the king for his daughter.
