Aratsa was ever ordained as a novice in a temple. When he disrobed, he was called Xiang (ex-novice) Chorato. One day, Xiang Chorato sent one pair of ivory with the captain of a junk for King Phimmasen who ruled Takkasila. At the time, Indra wished to support Xiang Chorato to become a king in the future. Therefore, Indra put two pretty girls named Khamsaeng and Maenglo in the ivories. When the king received the pair of ivory with two girls, he was happy. The king handed over the girls to marry his two sons named Soda ad Tanha.
