Description of manuscript content:
The queen of Champa Nakhon ordered her trustworthy servant to ask the goldsmith about the earring. The goldsmith said to the servant: “I have finished the earing’s setting, but I need some time to put the gems into the setting. I will bring them to her as soon as I complete it.” The queen felt her heart burn even hotter when her servant relayed the message. Her thoughts drifted: “What will happen if the king finds out that I have lost an earring and learns the cause of that loss? He will probably whip me, exile me, or have me executed.”
