A group of wise monks from Thani kingdom, who completed the study of the three Pitaka. They travelled to Thavaravedi city to look for any monks who is able to test wisdom with monks there. When Xiang Miang acknowledged this news, he volunteered to go into the competition. Xiang Miang was ordained as a novice and composed a manuscript in his own version. When the monks arrived, he asked them to interpret the manuscript. Appeared that no monk could translate it. Then Novice Miang said that this is just the basic text. For the competition, we will use the higher class of Pali text. When the monks heard that they were afraid to lose face, they immediately returned home.
