Folio 14 on the recto side: The inititors, Thit (Ex-monk) Chan and Sao (Mrs.) Nyū had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sòng Pitaka, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires be fulfilled. Nibbāna paccayo hontu no niccaṃ niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach nirvana, forever and continuously.
