The profits derived from taking up the Bhikkhuship. Once the Buddha was dwelling at Veluvan monastery in Rajgir. King Ajatashattru and Queen Kancanadevi had the religious faith to organize the ordination ceremony at the monastery for their son, Ajitakumara and other 500 boys to become Bhikkhus. Then the Buddha delivered a sermon describing the merit derived from making one’s son to become a Bhikkhu or organizing the ordination ceremony for other sons.
