King Sanchai, Queen Phusadi and the two grandchildren – Chali and Kanha – and court officials went to the labyrinth where Prince Wetsandòn (Vessantara) resided. The accompanying soldiers shouted out so loud that they frightened Prince Wetsandòn. He therefore took his wife, Matsi, to the uphill. After he realized that his parents intended to invite them back to the kingdom of Siphi, he took his wife down from the hill to meet his whole family. When all six met, they were so happily delighted that they cried until they fainted. God Indra created the huge rain in the forest.

[The writing was] completed in the evening, the third day of the week, on the tenth waxing day of the first [lunar] month, in [Culla]sakkarat 1256, a kap sanga year.
May the merit derived from copying this religious manuscript support Buddhism to last until the end of 5000 years. I wish for the three kinds of happiness, i.e., happiness in the celestial realm, happiness in the human world, and happiness in the Crystal City, which is Nirvana. Do not let me miss it. Niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ. Nibbāna paccayo hontu no.
