Description of manuscript content:
The king replied that if the golden bridge Kingka Kham’s home to Princess Pathumma's castle he would give him his daughter. This reply made Kingka Kham’s mother suffer and she returned home crying. Later, Kingka Kham asked the villagers to help him build a creel to trap the (magical) animal named Mae Kham Phong which was able to turn excrements into gold.

สระเด็จแล้วตามแตรขึ้นสูเที่ยง ชะดาบิดเบียงสันเพลวันนั้นแล เดือน ๑๑ ลง ๗ ค่ำ เม็งวัน ๗ แล หนาหลบธัมม์ฃางซาจักก่าฅำ ผูก ๒ ข้าแล จุฬสักราชได้ ๑๒๕๙ ตัว ระกลา สนำกัมโพชะไถงไทยภาสาว่าปลีเมืองเร้าแล [The writing] was completely finished at the time shortly before noon, in the elventh [lunar] month, on the seventh day of the waning moon, on the seventh day of the week as the Mon say, in Culasakkarat 1259, a raka (cock) [year], a müang rao year as the Thai say*. * Note: The date above is equivalent to Friday, 20 August 1857 (1259 Sravana 22).
