Praises used during the Buddhist lent period: calculations of the traditional new-year dates (Songkran); calculation tables of auspicious times; procedures of drawing lucky diagrams contained with a date of birth; divination of the nine celestial bodies of people in different years of birth, divination of auspicious and inauspicious days, calculation tables of fortune divination; treatise of the solar orbit; divination of auspicious times; finding lost items, divination of humans and of the country protective magic diagrams and spells.

This manuscript is completely stained with ink. This manuscript of astrological treatise belongs to Phi (elder brother) Saen Ya wichai. Nobody should hide this astrological manuscript. [The manuscript was finished writing] on the twelfth waning day of the eleventh lunar month, the sixth day of the week, in CS 1248, the Year of Dog, the eight year of the decade. Remark: The date corresponds to Friday, 27 August 1886 (1248 Sravana 27).

Other notes:

On the last page was a statement written in the Thai script with a dark blue pen “Wat Kittiwong, Mae Sariang district”. (“วัดกิติวงศ์ อ. แม่สะเรียง”)
