At the beginning of the manuscript there is a Pali spell (gāthā) used for consecrating candles and flowers to pay homage to Buddha images and a magic incantation to be recited in travelling for protective powers against dangers.
At the end of the manuscript there is a description, written in Thai language and script, of effective properties of Rhinacanthus nasutus (thòng phan chang) used for healing cancer.
