Didactic (Item 1): The proverbs serve didactic objectives to happily and peacefully live in the society, for instance:
- Perceive aurally and visually, contemplate mindfully.
- Do not pay attention only to close sight.
- Reproaching older siblings causes stomach ache. Reproaching younger siblings causes mind hurt.
- Warning words are inferior to flattering words. Three craftsmen live in a house with leaked roofs.
- Spread good things about people. Conceal one’s own bad things.
- Do not respond without being asked. Do not answer without being asked. Do not join without being invited, etc.
Astrology (Item 2): Explanation of auspice, adversity and accurse, praising word of Earth Goddess, auspicious time and characters of drums.
