ລານທີ່ 499 ໜ້າ 1: ໄດ້ຂຽນໜັງສື ກາລະເກດ ມີຫ້າຮ້ອຍປາຍໜຶ່ງໃບ ເປັນຂອງລາຊະການເມືອງຫຼວງພະບາງ. ແລ້ວເຊັດວັນທີ່ 22 ເມສາ ປີ 1935 ຖ້າບຸກຄົນໃດໄດ້ຢືມອ່ານແລ້ວ ແລ້ວແລະຂຽນກ່າຍເອົາແລ້ວໃຫ້ເອົາມາສົ່ງໃນພະຣາຊະວັງຫຼວງພະບາງເປັນແທ້ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າທິດຊູມີ ບ້ານຊຽງທອງເປັນຜູ້ຂຽນກ່າຍແລ ຕົວບໍ່ງາມປານໃດແລ້ວ ມືກະດ້າງບໍ່ໄດ້ຄັ້ນນົມສາວອີອາເຮີຍ. Folio 499 on the recto side: [I] had made this manuscript entitled Kalaket. There are five hundred and one folios. It belongs to the Royal Palace of Luang Prabang. The writing of this manuscript was accomplished on 22 April, AD 1935. Anyone who has borrowed it for reading and copying, please bring it back to the Royal Palace of Luang Prabang definitely. I am Thit (ex-monk) Sumi from Ban Xiang Thong village is the scribe. My handwriting is not so beautiful. My hands are rough because of never touching the breast of any girls. My uncle.
