Description of manuscript content:
Fourth fascicle of Nithan Khun Borom (the Story of Khun Borom). The content tells King Visoularat (AD 1465–1520) and his queen Devi were succeeded on the throne in Lan Xang kingdom. Buddhism had been flourishing. Due to the king and queen had an ardent religious faith in Buddhism and strongly supported it. The king and queen ordered the building of the stupa of Pha That Mak Mo (the stupa in a watermelon shape) and a monastic hall in Vat Visoun. The construction of the main hall started on the third day of the waxing moon of the third lunar month in a tao san year (AD 1504) spent for one year and seven months to finish. Then, the king invited Pha Bang Buddha to establish in the main hall.
