The text contains two stories. The text on the first six pages tells the last part of the story of Mahissa Kumman who was a son of the king Phanarasi. Mahissa Kumman had two brothers named Chantha Kumman and Suriya Kumman. In this existence, Chantha Kumman was reborn as Ananda There. Suriya Kumman was reborn as Sariputta Thera. Mahissa Kumman was reborn as the Buddha. The Yak was reborn as a monk who belonged to properties. The text on the following pages tells Chatthanta Jataka, the story of Chatthan Elephant. Bodhisatta was born as an elephant named Chatthanta who had white hairs, red mouth and feet. When he was grown up, he was taller and bigger than other elephants. His tusks had six radiuses.

Folio 18 on the recto side: Sangkat [1]187 (CS 1187), a hap hao year, on the nineth day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a kot set day. The writing of this manuscript was finished in the afternoon (between 12.00-13.30 o’clock). Sao (Mrs.) Chantha had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled 50 sat, bundle 5, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu (May this be a condition to reach Nirvana).
