The story of a couple of white crow which is the source of the story of the five Buddhas who have continually happened in this eon namely Kukkusandho, Gonagamano, Kassapo, Gotamo and Aryametteyyo. The story is that there was a couple of white crows with five eggs nesting on a banyan tree near Ganges River. One day, a heavy rain destroyed their nest and the eggs separately fell down the river and later survived by others. Then the eggs were given to five boys. When the boys grew up they became hermits and met each other.
