The story tells that while dwelling at the Jetavanna monastery in Savatthi city, the Buddha spoke about a poor man who was faithful in the Buddha’s teachings. He made a staircase for monks and novices to pass through during their collecting alms. After the death, the poor man went to Tavatimsa heaven and owns a castle decorated with seven kinds of glass.
