The story tells sòng hao thian (Celebration of a candlestick). In the Buddha’s time, Maha Moggalana Thera ascended to Tavatimsa heaven, the venerable met a devaputta who was smart and lived in a bright castle. When the venerable descended to the world, he asked the Buddha about what result of karma that the devaputta did during his human being. Then the Buddha told the story of the devaputta. In the time of Kassapa Buddha, there was a man who made a hao thian (candlestick) to worship a stupa. By the result of the merit, after death he ascended to heaven.
