Description of manuscript content:
The story tells of sòng phā āp nam fon (Celebration of cloth for the rains). One occasion, the Buddha was dwelling at the vulture peak with 500 other monks. There, Indra, Brahma and devas came and worshiped the Buddha with incense, lights and flowers. King Bibisala also came and asked questions to the Buddha. What should the people do in the rainy season? The Buddha suggested the king offer monks the clothes for the rains. Then the Buddha gave a sermon and spoke about the merit which derived from offering the clothes for the rains.
