Description of manuscript content:
The story tells salòng phòk tit tò (celebration of covering and fixing a Buddha statue). The story tells of one occasion, the Buddha was dwelling at the Jetavanna monastery in Savatthi; King Pasenadi came and asked questions to the Buddha. The king spoke to the Buddha about the person who is faithful in the Buddha’s teachings and sponsored the making of a Buddha statue, covering the statue with colors, and fixing the broken statue. How much merit will the person gain? Then the Buddha delivered this sermon to the king.
