The story of salòng katuep kadi vatva aram (celebration of a hut, abode, and monastery), tells of one occasion, the Buddha was dwelling at the Isipattana Migadayavan in Pharanasi. The Buddha delivered this sermon to Nandiya Upasaka describing that any women and men who are faithful to build castles, monasteries and abodes and donated them to the Sangha would gain much merit for countless existences. In each life, they will always have long-lives, beauty, happiness and strength and be far away from any dangers.
