Description of manuscript content:
The story tells on one occasion, while the Buddha was staying in the Jetavana monastery, a brahman named Supinna came to the Buddha and asked what merit for the person who is devoted and donated monks a castle decorating with bee flowers. Then the Buddha delivered a sermon describing the merit derived from donating a castle decorating with bee flowers.

Folio 6 on the verso side: In the Buddhist Era (BE) 2515, a suad year (year of the rat), [AD] 1972, the writing was finished at night time at 8.00 o’clock. Sathu Nyai (great abbot), the Chairperson of the Buddhist Fellowship Organisation of the district of Hun, who now stays at Vat Manorom Xiangkang, had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript, to support the Teachings of the Buddhat to last until the end of 5000 years. May I attain the three states of happiness and Nirvāna which is the greatest bliss. May my wishes not be ignored.
Other notes:
The edges of the leaves are painted red. Some folios have traces of fractures and mould on the surfaces.
