Description of manuscript content:
The story tells about the merit derived from offering flowers and fragrant to worship the Buddha. The ones who worship the Buddha with flowers and fragrant will gain merit in the three stages such as in the human world, heavenly world and Nirvana. On the other hand, the ones who worship the Buddha will gain power, worship the Dhamma will gain wisdom, and worship the Sangha (Order) will gain wealthiness.

ລານທີ່ 1 ໜ້າ 1: ພະຟອງ Folio 1 on the recto side: Pha (monk) Fong [is the sponsor of the making of this manuscript]. ລານທີ່ 7 ໜ້າ 2: ພຸດທະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ (ຈສ) 1332 ຕົວ ປີກົດເສັດ ເມິງໃສ້ ເດືອນ 9 ອອກໃໝ່ 2 ຄໍ່າ ວັນພຸດ ຍາມຄ່ຳ 5 ໂມງ ມູນລະສັດທາໝາຍມີ ເຈົ້າໝ່ອມພໍ່ຟອງ ພ້ອມດ້ວຍບຸດທັງຫຼາຍຊູ່ຄົນ ພ້ອມກັນມີໃຈເຫຼື້ອມໃສສັດທາເປັນອັນຍິ່ງຈິ່ງໄດ້ສ້າງ ສອງດອກໄມ້ ທຳຜູ້ນີ້ທານ. Folio 7 on the verso side: In the Buddhist Era (CS) 1332, a kot set year, moeng sai, on the second day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month, Wednesday, the writing was finished in the late afternoon at 5.00 o’clock. Chaomomphò (monk) Fong together with his children had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sòng Dokmai (celebration of flowers).

The date of the writing of this manuscript which appears in the colophon is in Buddhasakkarasa (BE) 1332, a kot set year, but it is possibly CS 1322, a kot set year.
