Description of manuscript content:
The monks were wondering, so they questioned the Buddha: what did a person do in the past that brought him to become an emperor in this life? The Buddha told the story of King Sunanda. In the time of Vessabu Buddha, there was a young monk who persuaded three ladies to make a suit of three robes and offered the robes to an old monk. The three ladies wished to become Indra’s daughters and to have co-existence with the young monk. Then the three ladies become Indra’s daughters. The young monk was born as Sunanda Kumman. They all are family in the royal palace of Champanakhon.
