Description of manuscript content:

The content tells when the time has gone; the Teachings of the Buddha are also declining. The people will not believe in the Buddha’s Teachings. They will not be polite to the elders and will not respect each other. The immoral people will be increasing more than the moral people. There will be fighting, stealing and robbing all over the world.

ລານທີ່ 6 ໜ້າ 1: ພຸດທະສັງກາດ 2522 ປີເມິງໃສ້ ເດືອນ 3 ຂຶ້ນ 13 ຄ່ຳ ວັນລິດຈະນາແລ້ວກອງງາຍ ໝາຍມີສາທຸຟອງ ວັດທາດຫຼວງ ນາມໄດ້ສ້າງ ນິຍາຍພະເຈົ້າສອນໂລກ ໄວ້ໃນພຸດທະສາສະໜາ ຂໍໃຫ້ໄດ້ດັ່ງຄຳມັກຄຳປາຖະໜາ ຂໍໃຫ້ໄດ້ເຂົ້າສູ່ວຽງແກ້ວນີລະພານ ແດ່ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ສາທຸໃຫຍ່ຟອງ ສ້າງເນີ. Folio 6 on the recto side: In the Buddhist Era (BE) 2522, a moeng sai year, on the thirteenth day of the third lunar month, the writing was finished in the morning (between 7.30-9.00 o’clock). Sathuphò (monk) Fong from Vat That Luang sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Niyai Phachao Sonlok, to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May my wishes and desires come true; may I attain reach the crystal city which is Nirvāna. Sathu Nyai (monk) Fong is the sponsor.
